Is Before the Storm available as an e-book or a paperback?

Both! I like having paperback versions of books for my library, but e-books are so much more convenient to carry to work and read on the subway.

Is there a sequel to Before the Storm?

Yes. It’s called During the Fire and I'm about halfway through writing it.

How much did you have to pay to be published?

Nothing. I’ve never paid my publisher a cent, and don’t expect to – not for marketing, not for editing and not to buy my own books (they sent me a box for free).

Unless we’re talking about self- and vanity publishing, the only place a writer signs a check is on the back.
